Meet Our Commissioner Candidates

The Column B Republican Team - Falcone, McCormick and Cartier for County Commissioner

Proven leaders who’ll put Gloucester Families first

Katherine Falcone

Katherine Falcone

Candidate for County Commissioner

Katherine Falcone has built her career around helping people stay independent. She is the founder and CEO of SOS Group Inc., a home accessibility construction company that helps people with disabilities live safely in their own homes. As a small business owner, she knows what it takes to meet a payroll, create jobs and make every dollar count.

Katherine served on the Monroe Township Council from 2019 to 2022. Monroe’s municipal tax rate came down in three of her four budgets, and residents kept the full services they count on. In 2022, she left the Democratic Party and became a Republican.

A champion for the disabled and vulnerable, Katherine is working with Congressman Jeff Van Drew on federal legislation to deliver long-overdue justice to women and children harmed by a drug taken during pregnancy.

As County Commissioner, Katherine will bring that same discipline to the county budget: lower taxes, careful spending and a government that answers to the families who pay for it. She is ready to work for Gloucester County on day one.

Barbara McCormick

Barbara McCormick

Candidate for County Commissioner

Barbara McCormick has dedicated her life to service. A nurse and nursing professor with 30 years of experience, she has spent decades strengthening community health and emergency preparedness here at home.

Barbara is a retired U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel. She deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan as a critical care nurse, serving her country where the stakes were highest. Today she remains an active leader in the American Legion and the VFW, fighting for the veterans who served and the families who stood behind them.

On the Board of County Commissioners, Barbara will focus on practical solutions that work at the county level: keeping our communities safe, supporting the first responders who protect us, standing up for veterans and making Gloucester County more affordable for working families and seniors.

For Barbara, service is who she is. In uniform, at a patient’s bedside and in the classroom training the next generation of nurses, she has always shown up for the people who need her. She will bring that same commitment to every family in Gloucester County.

Martino Cartier

Martino Cartier

Candidate for County Commissioner

Martino Cartier was born to serve and built to give back. A local salon owner, he grew a three-seat salon into a 50-seat institution that has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for families in need.

Martino is the founder of Wigs & Wishes, a charity that gives wigs to women who have lost their hair to cancer treatment and grants last wishes to cancer patients. Today Wigs & Wishes donates more than 25,000 wigs a year. Closer to home, he built a safe haven in Washington Township where children with special needs can learn and thrive.

His service has been recognized with the Ellis Island Medal of Honor, the NAACP Game Changer of the Year award and NASDAQ’s Top Humanitarian of the Year.

As County Commissioner, Martino wants to give back to the community that has given him so much. He will stand up for taxpayers, fight for our families, support our small businesses, and work to make Gloucester County a place where everyone can thrive.
